Some of our clients are so busy running their business they cannot find the time to even read candidate CVs, not to mind actually interviewing the strongest prospects.

And this can be the case even when the role is critical to future business success.

Is there a way round this dilemma?

My suggestion is that we do all the work for our client (i.e. source candidates, screen and interview candidates and choose the successful appointee). We then present the best candidate and if the client is happy to proceed with the candidate, we negotiate a way forward that suits both sides.

The final outcome might be a hybrid arrangement of Interim Management, Contract and/or extended probationary period.

The most important feature is that somebody is on board as soon as possible to deliver the specific inputs the business requires and all parties to the arrangement are satisfied with a successful outcome.
