Programme Overview

The ‘train-the-trainer’ course comprises 12 distinct module lessons to be completed over 3 days. It offers a systematic treatment of the critical competencies demanded for best-practice instructor-led group training delivery, covering every stage involved – from planning & preparation through workshop staging and implementation to final close-out and evaluation. Based on extensive literature research and frontline corporate and public sector experience, the course is designed to provide practical strategies and techniques for mastering and applying each competency in a diversity of technical and behavioural training situations.

The ‘train-the-trainer’ course will explain the importance of each delivery competency to the effectiveness of a training programme, then provide participants with opportunities to reflect and critique their own training style in relation to each competency and in the context of their own organization – and prepare them to take the ideas and techniques demonstrated back to work, in order to achieve a step-change in the effectiveness of their own training delivery
