The Challenge

A key element of the client company’s growth strategy was the appointment of a new Sales Manager to drive business development throughout the 32 counties. The company approached Torc to investigate how a suitable candidate could be sourced most economically.

Torc Response

Torc initially met with the Marketing Director to gain a thorough understanding of company culture, overall business plan and description of the ideal candidate.

We proposed a desk research exercise of the market sector including a comprehensive search of our internal candidate database and files from similar recruitment projects. This yielded a number of suitably qualified candidates and these were invited to re-engage and interview with Torc for this new opportunity.

The Result

A shortlist of high calibre candidates was presented to the company for final interview. The successful candidate has generated major growth in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
