The Challenge

One of Ireland’s leading commercial companies commenced the implementation of a centralisation project for routine processing and administration services from its branch office network. Torc Consulting Group was asked to propose a strategy and implementation programme.

Torc Response

Working in tandem with the company’s Human Resources Department, a new organisation structure reflecting the newly defined business proposition was devised for each regional office.

A communications programme was planned and delivered to employees in regional offices. This included confirmation that all employees would be invited to compete for the planned new roles etc.

Torc Consulting Group participated in a series of internal and competitive staff interviews to determine which employees would be appointed to the new roles, which would be offered alternative roles within the organisation and which would be offered exit packages.

This programme was replicated in four locations around Ireland.

The Result

The new regional/branch office structure focusing on delivery of enhanced customer service was successfully implemented.
